...started off as a design experiment aimed to explore new iconography style for mobile devices, as well as to have some fun animating the icons we are all so used to in our day-to-day lives.
This initial spark of a project can be found on my Behance page, and I am sure you won't spend much time finding it. The goal was to find a visual silver lining between the ubiquitous and, let's face it, pretty stagnant at this point Flat Icon Design and a detail-rich relic that is now Skeuomorphic Icon Design language.
A new, but limited in its use cases - Neomorphic approach was also considered in this equation.
The goal was to find balance.
And this balance came in the shape of Stateramoprhism (/staterae/-lat. for balance and morphḗ, meaning "shape"):
an equation attempting to fuse all the best qualities of all existing options.
A more complete case study can be found in the original experimental project mentioned above.
Shortly after publishing my work, the release of IOS 14 made it possible (through a series of sticks and duct-tape manipulations) to customize your icons, and, subsequently, the internet
became abundant with various icon pack offerings.
I was not keen on following the trend, as Stateramorphic icons required much more time to create, as opposed to flat design icon packs that could be pumped out “overnight” and, naturally, over flooded the web.
However, thanks to you guys, the many people asking for higher quality icons, I have embarked on this rather time-consuming journey. I did not want to create just another icon pack, consisting of 20, 50, hundred something at best icons sets.
So, with great pleasure and tired eyes, I am happy to announce that Stateramorphic 3D Icons with the streamlined and more consistent design language are available in 9 different color schemes, each represented by over 330+ icons! and its own web presence. As a small bonus, I am expanding Stateramorh.com to not only icons but also an initial batch of colorful wallpapers for your mobile devices, as well as desktop monitors with resolution up to 8k!
As a "one-man" operation, adding new wallpapers and icon sets will not be fast, but will definitely
depend solely on your support and interest!

Every single set that is featured on the website contains more than 330 icons, covering all the mainstream Apps as well as many others.
The goal is to gradually expand the list, adding new App names to the sets.
To cover all grounds and potentially some specific Apps that are not on the list, every set contains 11 generic icons, alongside an icon for every letter of the alphabet, so you can use those in case an App you personally like is missing.
Surely, it will take an admirable amount of dedication to manually set up all of them, but it is not expected.
The goal is to make sure that you have the choice and the verity to customize a few home screens that you use most often and stand out.
